About Walk and Talk

For centuries now, women have been living under bondage that restricts them from achieving professional as well as personal heights. But with the COVID-19 crisis, mental health issues and emotional challenges have spiked and Women, the backbone of any society are now feeling a sense of uncertainty; We see them delivering multiple roles effortlessly every single day, doting daughters, caring mothers, competent professionals, and many other roles, joining the dynamic workforce in various booming sectors, by defying all the previous social constraints. However, they are still facing unequal treatment and social pressure leading to self-doubt and fear of speak-up.

Thus, we would like to introduce this inspiring and incredible Women Empowerment project, founded by a Lebanese National lady – Mona El Zoghby - titled “Walk and Talk Qatar. With growing awareness of the importance of an individual’s sense of wellbeing, self-efficacy, time-management, work-life balance, and many other important topics, this project by simply walking and talking together with purpose in different parks of Doha will be the most effective way to create a positive change in local women’s lives.

This initiative aims to highlight inspiring stories of successful women best practices. By attracting viable women leaders, game changers, storytellers, and the inspiration makers who are leading the way and believe in empowering women to stand up for themselves and alongside as equals, this project will build a strong platform to promote out of the box thinking and self-worth which will impact the role of women in the current economy in Doha.

Our Goal

Increase awareness of women’s right to equality and help create better version of themselves to support overcoming life’s struggles, ensuring a balanced approach towards achieving positive socio-economic change.

The Story Behind Our Brand

  • The logo is designed to be appealing, connecting to the name. By moving the letters, we reflect the walk as well our mission to help women though their life's ups and downs, and the woman in the center, highlights our target audience.
  • The colors lend softness and creates a sense of respect. Purple color is mostly considered feminine, resonates with creative souls, and encourages self-knowledge, wisdom, and imagination. Yet some people perceive it as emotional. Light green color represents renewal, luck, health, and optimism.
  • The Slogan “Walking together with Purpose”, is carefully selected emphasizing on learning, growing, striving, and unlimited benefits.

About Me

Mona El Zoghby is a strategic, results-driven leader with a deep passion for sustainable development and a commitment to creating safe environment for women in Qatar to amplify their voices. In October 2022, she founded “walkandtalkQatar,” an initiative that reflects her dedication to these causes.

With over 15 years of professional experience across three different industries, Mona has spent the past nine years working with Siemens and Siemens Energy. She combines her business acumen and passion to drive impactful change and foster a positive culture within Qatar’s community.

Originally from Lebanon, Mona moved to sunny Qatar in 2008. She now resides in Doha with her husband and three daughters. Mona’s dedication to her work is matched by her love for family and the outdoors. When she’s not planning events or working, she enjoys spending time with her family, soaking up the sunshine, and relaxing at the beach.

Mona’s holistic approach to work-life balance not only enhances her own life but also inspires those around her to strive for a harmonious and fulfilling life. In her spare time, Mona loves to walk and read. She often shares her book summaries with her “small reading club” at work, fostering a culture of continuous learning and sharing.

Mona holds numerous certificates and awards, underscoring her expertise and dedication. She believes that working together with purpose among diverse women is the beginning, supporting each other is progress, and creating a lasting impact is the true measure of success.
